I am officially a NaNoWriMo winner!
Fifty thousand words!! And the best bart, I wrote it all freehand! In a composition notebook! I will post photos later.
I'm so excited. And now I have time to clean my house and do everything I put off doing last month while doing this amazing writing project.
I feel fantastic.
I finished my NaNoWriMo too, but did it on my computer. As a matter of fact, I'm awaiting the copy of my proof from CreateSpace. For all of $8 and change, I get my proof copy and then can order my five free copies that I get as a 'winner'. Good deal.
ReplyDeleteAnd yeah, I have a load of stuff to catch up on still, as I wrote, and wrote, and wrote.... My blog for November 1-29 is basically the novel, although I cleaned up the typos and added a few things for clarity.

Wow! I have tried to do NaNoWriMo, but I've never won. It takes a lot to write that many words, and especially by hand. Congrats! I'm following you here too. -hollychihuahua from Gain Blog Readers on S-B
ReplyDeleteHot damn, I can hardly do jack squat in free handed writing. I hate it. :p However typing seems to stump me sometimes as I get the words out quicker than the thoughts.
ReplyDeleteOh well, lesser of two evils always wins for me. :p

What a awesome achievement! I can't even imagine writing 2000 words in one month.

That is so awesome! Congratulations! I have not tried NaNoWriMo yet, but my sister-in-law has successfully completed two years of it. Next year, I'd like to participate and become a NaNoWriMo winner. One of my goals is to write a novel. It's a great accomplishment that you've achieved.
